Re: Retexturing kuula floors
I hadn't considered the visual aspect of tiles like that. Though, considering, people don't notice our signs now. I'm not sure of what hope we have of making things any worse. (._.) What I've seen of the tiles, the repeats were rather low and they appeared more as slabs to me. I do find the textures...

Re: Talking point feedback from SLUniverse forums
1) Start a Kuula rebuild plan to modernize the textures, improve the layout, and make it a site which encourages retention... Then look at who slaps you back when their toes are stepped on. 2) We can barely get people to stop swearing. Let alone keep them from trolling new people, camping for hours ...

Talking point feedback from SLUniverse forums
Y'all might know that I'm a regular poster on a few SL related forums, including one SLUniverse. A thread has been created regarding the 'newbie experience' and no doubt, NCI has come to mention. Though, all is not rosy. (>_<) My problem with NCI is a bit more basic. I remember when Tyabella started...

Re: Lower lag
I haven't. My own sim is on the Magnum channel. (._.)
Looks promising, though. It'd be fun to add those stats to a lag monitor. (^_^)

Re: NCI Freebies shop at the Marketplace?
I've been thinking about it and have now come to the conclusion that I'm going to against this. While the freebie collection is a great way of distributing items, it's also our "magnet". (>_<) So far, when I've built infonodes, the key visible item I place is the "Free Stuff" fre...

Re: The Dream Seeker Orientation Area Suggestions Thread
Geh... I gotta get of my duff and go take a look at things. (._.)
So far so good on the organizational matters, though. (^_^)

Re: Lower lag
As vague as it seems, what they're pretty much saying is that 1 compile + 1 sim = 1 bytecode for all duplicates. But, if you compile again, it's pulled from the bucket into its own space. (^_^) So, distribute 30 night/day scripted lamps from inventory and/or shift-copy, and they'll all run on their ...

Re: Lower lag
This is where I've gotten my information on Mono. (^_^) http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Mono Has the available memory for scripts changed? (Currently 16k in LSL2 VM) For the same LSL script the Mono bytecode and original (LSL2) bytecode will be of different size. In order to be compatible with all k...

Re: Organizational Growth and Advancement (cross-posted)
I don't know how much more I can contribute to the group. If anything, I'd like to know of any efforts I'm hindering so that I can get out of the way. At this point, I think the best I can do is keep the infonodes attractive eye-catches. I work a full time job and still use SL as a form of entertain...
