NCI acquires Snow Country!
NCI is opening a new brand new space, dubbed NCI Snow Country, located in Hughes. We are very pleased to thank Cory Flanagan for his very generous donation of 30,000 tier free square meters of beautifully landscaped snow land.
These are our goals for this land: 1. Facilitating experiential based learning of second life skills, 2. developing new, more immersive ways of generating interest in Second Life skills (little to no posters or text required), and 3. building new classroom space. We will use new classrooms in the sky, keep the ground level in pristine condition.
Come and see NCI Snow Country! It's a pleasant and scenic environment to socialize, a wonderful
place for new photographers to practice new-found skills and to present another aspect of Second Life not generally available at other NCI locations. With its artistic and immersive content displays we will be testing the addition of a new approach to Second Life education. Education need not be limited to a "classroom" format, and can be done in multiple ways without the need to rely on billboards or text.
