Inworldz closed

Post by Athena Carillon »

Just learned that Inworldz closed down a few weeks ago:

It does mean there's some influx of people from Inworldz to SL.

Thanks for the info.

What are we looking at here?
I've never been to InWorldz, so my perception of the consequences is a bit generic.
Old SL accounts being re-activated? Disgruntled SL users who will now vent their frustration here?
I can't imagine that many of them will be happy to return to SL - I mean, they left SL for a reason, didn't they?
Let's not call it rude. Let's call it cordially challenged
Let's not call it trolling. Let's call it socially impaired
Let's not call it griefing. Let's call it differently creative
Ah heck, I'll keep calling things what they actually are!

I meant they might never have been to SL or would be willing to give it another try, particularly if its a few years since they left.

Inworldz was an alternative to SL but never really developed that far. It's like SL pre any mesh happened. I had an account but rarely went there.
