OK -- so I'm looking at a Second Life wiki about how to move using keyboard shortcuts. It says that to change my avatar to run mode, I double-tap WASD. Underneath in small letters it says "To enable this go to Advanced>Character>Tap-tap Hold to run."
Whoa! Wait a minute -- where the ____! do I find "Advanced" menu?
And: does "double-tap WASD" mean I have to double-tap those four keys at once?
Thank you.

Keyboard shortcut to run, walk
Re: Keyboard shortcut to run, walk
ctrl alt d gives you the advanced menu
tap tap hold would refer to your arrow keys for movement
Alternatively, you have the option to turn on 'always run' (ctrl r)
